Our Club is a volunteer nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting girls high school lacrosse.  Our Club’s mission is to create a life-long love of the game by teaching core skills, game strategies, and promoting exemplary sportsmanship. Through our coaching staff and volunteers, the Club will encourage players to develop a positive attitude, self-discipline, respect for others, and a commitment to the success of their team and club. Chaparral Girls Lacrosse Club will strive to make participation in the sport of lacrosse affordable, safe and a positive experience for players of all levels, coaches and parents.

Chaparral Firebirds Girls Lacrosse – 2026 Pre-Season & Tryout Information

Join the Firebirds! The Chaparral High School Girls Lacrosse program is gearing up for an exciting 2026 season! We're inviting all eligible players (incoming freshmen through seniors) to come out, meet the team, showcase your skills, and become part of our tight-knit Firebird family.

Open Practices (Pre-Tryout Gatherings) Get to know your coaches, teammates, and the Firebird spirit before official tryouts begin! These open sessions are a great opportunity to warm up, run drills, and have fun together on the field.

• Wednesday, January 21st – Open Practice - Desert Mountain High School 5pm - 7pm
• Thursday, January 22nd – Open Practice - Chaparral High School 5pm - 7pm

All girls interested in trying out are strongly encouraged to attend!

Official Tryouts Tryouts will take place over five days to evaluate skills, fitness, and team fit. Bring your stick, goggles, mouthguard, cleats, water, and plenty of energy!

Schedule:

• Monday, January 26th – Cochise Field – 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
• Tuesday, January 27th – Chaparral High School – 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM
• Wednesday, January 28th – Cochise Field – 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
• Thursday, January 29th – Chaparral High School – 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM
• Friday, January 30th – Cochise Field – 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM

What to Expect:

• Dynamic drills, scrimmages, and position-specific evaluations
• Emphasis on fundamentals, hustle, and positive attitude
• Open to all girls in grades 9–12 who attend Chaparral High School, our feeder schools, or live in the area (if Chaparral is the closest program)

Registration opens for the Chaparral Girls Lacrosse will open on February 1st once the roster is announced.
