  • We regretfully inform you that the 2020 lacrosse season has been canceled.  Please see the note below for further information.
Season Cancelled. Final Items.

Dear Chaparral Lacrosse Families:

We hope everyone is staying safe and social distancing as best you can. We appreciate everyone for returning all of the uniforms in a timely manner and everyone's quick response to determine what to do with the remaining registration fees. Please note, all refunds were processed last week. So, depending on your credit card company, you should see the refund on your statement sometime this week (April 27th). For those who opted to receive a credit toward the 2021 season, all credits have been applied to your account. They should be in your shopping cart automatically when 2021 registration opens up. Finally, for everyone who was kind enough to donate the registration fees, donation letters are being prepared and should be sent shortly.

Thank you for being so understanding. It is the Chap Lax community that makes this program so great.

Stay Safe.

See you next season.

Season Cancelled. Action Needed.

Dear Chaparral Lacrosse Families:

We hope you are healthy and in good spirits. With heavy hearts we officially announce that the 2020 lacrosse season is over. While we are devastated by this situation, we hope that lacrosse will continue to be an important part of your girls’ lives. We are also hopeful that the girls will stay connected to each other and to our amazing coaching staff.

Thanks to everyone for making this shortened season still fun and enjoyable. We wish the seniors great success post high school. We look forward to seeing everyone back on the field for the next season.

Please stay safe!

Inclement Weather Procedures

If it rains or you have any doubt about practice being canceled, we will always update the website's scroll bar if there is a cancelation.   Rain outs strictly depend on if the city cancels the fields or not.  They usually will not check the field until around 2:30pm so please do not call to ask if it is prior to that time.

Thank you!

Jessica Livingston Barden on the Cover of US Lacrosse Magazine

Jessica Livingston has become a well-known name in Arizona
lacrosse. The Arizona lacrosse community knows how committed she is to growing lacrosse here in the Valley, but
she is also committed to growing lacrosse on a national level.

We know her at AZGL as the founder of this organization. We also know she is the head coach of the Chaparral Varsity Girls Lacrosse Club in Scottsdale and has lead them to three state titles. In her quest to grow lacrosse at a national level, she has served on the US Lacrosse Board of Directors and many other committees in the past. Today she serves on the US Lacrosse Youth Subcommittee, Coaches Education Committee, and Sport and Development Committee. She is also a Level 1 certified trainer in the US Lacrosse Coaching Education Program. In 2010, she received the Excellence in Growing the Game award from US Lacrosse.

The list of achievements and national boards and committees that she has served on goes on. As the article in US Lacrosse January 2012 issue states, she is definitely one of the top 10 people changing youth lacrosse now. AZGL, and the Arizona lacrosse community in general, is incredibly lucky to have a great leader like Jessica.
